First AI Employee ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operating at firstaiemployee.com, provides an AI-powered virtual employee service for businesses. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our Service.
By using our Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2.Information We Collect
2.1Business Information
Name, business name, address, email address, phone number, and other information you provide during onboarding.
2.2Messages & Communications
Messages sent and received through integrated communication channels, including Facebook Messenger, SMS (via Twilio), email (via Gmail), and phone calls. This includes message content, timestamps, and sender/recipient information.
2.3Voice Recordings
If you choose to use a custom voice for your AI employee, we collect voice recordings you provide for the purpose of voice cloning. These recordings are processed by Retell AI to create your custom voice profile.
2.4Payment Information
Payment processing is handled entirely by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store your credit card numbers or banking details on our servers. We receive transaction confirmations and subscription status from Lemon Squeezy.
2.5Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and interaction logs with your AI employee.
3.How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- To process messages through AI (Claude by Anthropic) and generate responses on your behalf
- To handle phone calls, SMS, emails, and Messenger conversations for your business
- To manage your calendar and appointments via Google Calendar
- To process payments and manage your subscription
- To communicate with you about service updates, billing, and support
- To improve and optimize the Service
- To comply with legal obligations
4.AI Processing Disclosure
Our Service uses artificial intelligence (Claude by Anthropic) to process incoming messages and generate responses on behalf of your business. When your AI employee receives a message from one of your customers or contacts, that message is sent to Anthropic's API for processing. Anthropic's data handling is governed by their own privacy policy and data processing agreements.
We do not use your data to train AI models. Message data sent to Anthropic is used solely for generating real-time responses and is subject to Anthropic's API data retention policies.
5.Third-Party Services
We share data with the following third-party service providers, solely to operate the Service:

6.Data Retention
We retain your business data and communication logs for the duration of your active subscription. Upon cancellation or termination, your data is retained for an additional 90 days to allow for reactivation or data export requests. After this period, all data is permanently deleted from our systems.
You may request earlier deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at privacy@firstaiemployee.com.
7.Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest, access controls, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8.Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Data is shared only with the service providers listed in Section 5, solely to operate the Service.
9.Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to Access — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to Deletion — Request that we delete your personal data
- Right to Portability — Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format

10.Cookies

Our Service is not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify you via the email address associated with your account. Your continued use of the Service after such notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
