Direct completed-call lead delivery

After a completed call, First AI Employee finds the event marker in Workiz or creates one lead with the caller details and call summary. It creates a lead only. It does not create a customer, job, appointment, quote, invoice, or payment. Calls without the required caller identity are skipped.

What it does

After a completed call, First AI Employee finds the event marker in Workiz or creates one lead with the caller details and call summary.

Requires Workiz Ultimate with the Developer API add-on. Create the token and secret under Settings, Integrations, Developer.

Create the Workiz token and secret.
Paste both into the Workiz card in Integrations.
Complete one non-production call with a caller name and phone.
Confirm one Workiz lead contains the call summary and First AI Employee event marker.

What it does

Preferred when direct delivery is available: connect Workiz in the dashboard. First AI Employee verifies the account, reads bounded lead history to reconcile repeats, and writes one marker-backed Workiz lead for each eligible completed call. Alternative: a customer-owned Zap can map New Lead into Workiz Create Lead.

Before you start

The direct route needs Workiz's Ultimate plan with the Developer API add-on and creates leads only, not jobs or appointments. Workiz publishes no read that accepts the secret, so the dashboard check proves the token and the first successful lead write proves the secret. The Zapier alternative does not need that add-on. Use Zapier Create Job only after intake supplies first name, address, city, postal code, start time, and a customer-selected job type.

Confirm the token check, then let eligible completed calls create marker-backed Workiz leads automatically.
Use the customer-owned Zapier alternative when direct API access is unavailable or when a guarded Create Job step has every required scheduling field.

Account ownership and data boundaries

The route sends only the event fields needed for the action you configure. Provider credentials stay in the approved connection or are sealed by First AI Employee where the guide explicitly says so.

Your provider and automation accounts remain yours.
A successful transport test is not the same as a verified provider write.
The pages never claim a native or two-way sync unless that exact capability exists.
